Two men and their attempts to somehow find their way.
Also: Josephine Baker, German gold medals, the field hare, reality, boxers who were stripped of their title, a manor where you know what German is, a provocation that can be connected, a failed favourite poem, young people dressed in black, reality, us, a Punch and Judy show, many wishes, several assumptions, stories of people who don't belong here, private planes, democracy, confessions, confessions, values that everyone has to share, without ifs and buts.
Oh yes, and diversity. But you have to put up with it, says one of the two men.

"Und wir hatten doch schon Gelassenheit geübt" is the third production after "Dieses Land ist es nicht" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'" in which Rolf Michenfelder takes an artistic approach to current social developments, in which he asks where Germany is headed and whether and where it still exists, the dreams of a just, solidary, free society.
