UND WIR KAMEN AUS DEM WASSER - Kabarett mit Ecco Meineke

In the organizer's words:

Ecco Meineke, once frontman of the "Lach- und Schieß", embarks on a cabaret trip around the world in his solo program "Und wir kamen aus dem Wasser". He is commissioned by a mermaid to "save the water". Water - unquestionably mankind's most important resource - is shamefully disregarded!

Appearing are: Glacier guides, dam planners, pipeline pimps, fishermen and polar bears, privatizers and other pirates... and of course Meineke alias "Ecco DiLorenzo" also lets it rip musically. From shanties to soul ballads, from reggae to opera.

The program has been shown at venues including the Heiliggeistkirche in Heidelberg, the Wassergalerie Berlin, the Nacht der Umwelt in the Altes Rathaussaal in Munich, the Theaterschiff Heilbronn, the Wasserallianz in Augsburg, the Scharfrichterhaus Passau, the Ökumenischer Kirchentag in Munich, most recently at the Ickinger Kulturtage 2022 and the Tag der Regionen at the Katholische Landvolkshochschule Petersberg, Erdweg 2024.
