A river meanders through the landscape, sometimes gently undulating, sometimes as raging floods. People live on its banks, travel on the water to distant lands and experience foreign worlds. In the depths of the river live animals and mythical creatures that are the subject of legends. Water moves, making its way even through rock, whether as waves or drops.

In the UNDA show, ensembles and soloists from Monheim, Germany and Switzerland perform and dance scenes, impressions and stories about the flowing element. Imaginative choreographies are shown that reflect the diversity of fusion bellydance: Influences from oriental and Indian dance styles, whirling, urban styles and flamenco allow the dancers a wide range of expressive possibilities.
