With Unexpected Music, you can expect a festival that is dedicated explicitly to experimental music and will present acts and artists that otherwise find little or no place in the concert landscape of Munich.

Together we want to listen to new forms of music, ambient, noise, queer pop, glitch electronic, improtronic, deconstructed, field recordings, abstract dance ... genre boundaries will be crossed with relish, friction is desired with bands and artists from all over the world.

There are day tickets and a festival pass. A fair-price version of the Festival Pass is available in addition. The passes are valid for all three festival days. For the day tickets there is one supporter, one mid-price and one fair-price ticket. More info on the ticket page.

Unexpected Music is a festival that is explicitly dedicated to experimental music and presents acts and artists that would otherwise find little or no place in the Munich concert scene.

Together we want to listen to new forms of music, ambient, noise, queer pop, glitch electronic, improtronic, deconstructed, field recordings, abstract dance ... Genre boundaries are crossed with relish, friction is encouraged - with bands and artists from all over the world.
