In a mysterious and surreal in-between zone, somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of the various characters in this episodic comedy are interwoven in surprising and enigmatic ways.
Inspired by the life and family history of director Matthew Ranki.

Winnipeg, Canada, in the middle of winter. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find frozen money in the ice and try to claim the real amount. A turkey walking around, a man clutching a lighted Christmas tree and a singing turkey salesman in a pink cowboy hat all play a role in their plan. Meanwhile, Matthew quits his pointless job in a government office in Quebec, Canada, and embarks on a mysterious trip to Winnipeg to visit his mother. At the same time, Massoud, wearing pink earmuffs, leads a group of confused tourists through the monuments and historical sites of the city, which only remotely resembles a real-life model - it could be Tehran in the 1980s/1990s, as Farsi is spoken as a matter of course. In the end, Canadian memories are combined in a unique way with Iranian care and hospitality in front of a white winter landscape.
