We are thrilled to announce that we will host Werner Vogels, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President of Amazon at TUM Speakers Series on the upcoming Thursday, January 15 for an insightful keynote!

Thanks to our partnership with DLD Conference we have the unique chance of providing you an event with one of Amazon's leading managers, overseeing one of the largest tech-companies of the world. In his keynote titled Unmapped: No Data, No AI, Mr. Vogels will focus on the fundamental technology underlaying the most innovative AI models: Data mapping. By exploring real examples, he will show the audience how AI can help us solve some of the biggest challenges ahead.

Werner Vogels is a Dutch computer scientist focusing on distributed systems, with his academic career leading him to Cornell University after receiving his Ph.D. He then founded his own technology company called Reliable Network Solutions Inc., holding various valuable U.S. patents. In 2004 he joined Amazon as a Director and was promoted to CTO within less than a year, serving in this position for over 20 years now. At Amazon he oversees the company's customer-centric technology vision as well as guiding Amazon's approach towards cloud computing, being one of the architects behind Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of the world's leading providers of cloud computing.
