Yuri Yefanov - Sounds of Hympendahl, specifically humans

In this interactive workshop with the Ukrainian artist Yuri Yefanov (*1990 in Zaporizhzhya), participants will experience how human communication finds its way even without fixed language conventions. The first step is to get a feel for the sounds of the surroundings together on a wasteland in Dortmund. These impressions are then used to create a group discussion in which the participants do not use word-based language but only sounds to communicate. What may initially take some effort quickly finds solutions in a collective process, allowing everyone to become dilettantes in a new foreign language that is improvised in the process of creation.
