In the organizer's words:

Are you a green pat*in and your bed is not developing as expected?

The plants are growing sparsely - instead weeds and grass are sprouting or, in the worst case, nothing is growing at all? The reasons can vary: drought, persistent rain, difficult location, people walking over it, etc...

We'll meet at an existing green bed. Together we will take stock and identify the existing plants.

We will introduce and use the helpful apps Flora Incognita and NaturaDB. Download the two free apps to your cell phone before the workshop.
Please bring your own gardening gloves if you want to use them.

Together we will decide what can continue to grow here and weed out unwanted plants. We will carefully loosen the soil and work in some fresh soil or compost. You will be given tips on the best tools to use and what else you can do to help the plants develop well, e.g. mulching, watering properly...

We will plant native wild perennials that are adapted to the location and provided by the perennial garden in the form of a repair kit. On site, we consider how the seedlings can be protected from careless passers-by. If the sign is not yet perfectly positioned, we will reposition it so that it is clearly visible. You will also be given tips on where and how you can get other suitable plants at a reasonable price.

In the workshop you can ask all your questions and network with other green sponsors.
