Rising rents, rising construction costs, rising numbers of homeless people in Germany. Solving the question of how to create living space for all sections of the population is a central social task. 👉 A task to which architects, interior designers, landscape architects and urban planners can make a decisive contribution.

How can planners develop our cities and communities so that they can offer affordable housing for all sections of the population? What potential do young planners discover in existing buildings?

🎤 Fresh answers to these questions will be provided by the eleventh UrbanSlam, hosted by the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia in cooperation with the "Baukultur NRW" initiative in Aachen (digitalCHURCH) on June 16, 2026 .
