It's that time again! The open-air season is in full swing and regular open-air events are once again taking place at the Stadtstrand. Together with Urbanite, we organize our ''URBAN SOUNDS'' every Friday on our Urbanite beach stage, where singers, songwriters, singer-songwriters and bands present their music. From alternative, indie, folk, pop to rock, there is a varied program every week.

On board this time:

SEEGRASZEBRAS

Since their foundation in 2019, the SeegrasZebras have been roaming around Leipzig and presenting muklike music.
The four musicians use a mix of styles from rock, pop, country, blues and funk. From the tender seaweed seedlings of singer-songwriter Stefan Müller-Molenar, the band develops full-grown and mature seaweed landscapes, sometimes gently moving in the balmy sea, sometimes whipping and drifting in the raging spray.

In their German-language lyrics, the SeegrasZebras sing about legends ("Die Legende von Jesse James"), energy thieves ("Alles bleibt") or tell stories about expeditions ("Die Expedition"), the danger of fear ("Wir brauchen Angst") and other dimensions ("Die andere Dimension").
