This 3-day city and architecture photography course shows you how to photograph buildings, spaces and urban structures with the eye of an architect - from composition and lighting to professional image editing.

Munich offers a unique mix of historical and modern architecture - from the Pinakothek der Moderne to the BMW Museum and the hidden courtyards of the old town. Under the guidance of a trained architect and photographer, you will learn how to consciously perceive lines, shapes, materials and light and translate them into expressive images. Your mentor Spyros is an architect with a double master's degree from the Technical University of Munich, where he now teaches at the Chair of Urban Design. His perspective on the city combines architectural depth, urban planning research and the trained eye of a photographer - he knows Munich not only as a motif, but also as a planner, researcher and resident. A special highlight: Spyros will personally guide you through his own exhibition "Urbanographies" and share the stories, perspectives and decisions behind his work.

On the last day, you will take your pictures to the post-processing stage - using professional software, you will learn how to turn a strong shot into a final, expressive image. The focus of the entire skillcation is on the interplay of architectural understanding, photographic technique and creative post-processing.
