Veranstaltung zum 85. Jahrestag - Überfall auf die Sowjetunion
In the organizer's words:
On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the invasion of the Soviet Union by fascist Germany, we commemorate the enormous price of 27 million Soviet lives paid for the liberation of Europe and Asia. The Russian Embassy will begin with a welcoming address, followed by a lecture by Sevim Dağdelen on the invasion of the Soviet Union as a colonial war of extermination. Arnold Schölzel will explain how Great Britain and France contributed to the softening of the Versailles restrictions through their decisions in the 1930s, especially in 1935, and thus made Germany's rearmament possible. Constantin Pivovarov gives a lecture on April 19, the declared day of remembrance for the genocide of the Soviet people. After a short break, we will conclude the evening with music by Gina Pietsch and Fabio Costa on the piano, who will present their program "Russians".
