Punk must return to the Volksbühne, and workers' struggles must return to a workers' theater.

In recent years, numerous subcultural venues in Berlin's Mitte district have disappeared. We want to counter this with our concert series and at the same time establish something new. At its core, we are ten workers from the Volksbühne who, supported by many colleagues, have been organizing punk concerts in the Roter Salon every eight weeks since 2019.

Our principle: every concert commemorates a labor struggle. These struggles - also worldwide - are both past and present. Many labor struggles have been forgotten. We want to remember the stories, the anger and the courage of our colleagues.

Above all, we want to tell the stories in the first place.
