Presentation and Discussion
Aachen once had an extensive streetcar network that shaped local public transportation until 1974. Today, the city is embarking on a new chapter: The Regiotram project aims to reestablish an environmentally friendly rail connection between the city and the surrounding region. The presentation will explore the history of Aachen’s tram system and offer an exciting look ahead to the Regiotram Aachen project. An event as part of European Mobility Week. In cooperation with the City of Aachen’s Department of Mobility and Transportation.
