In the organizer's words:

What topics do young planners make the subject of their master's theses? - The entries for the "Euregional Architecture Prize" can be interpreted as a cross-section of contemporary issues and creative answers. Every year, the EAP honors Master's theses from the Euregio architecture faculties in Aachen, Hasselt, Liège and Maastricht.

Last year, the awards were presented for the 35th time.

The procedure is awarded and organized by the interdisciplinary cultural institute SCHUNCK in Heerlen, the Netherlands.

As a cooperation partner of the award procedure, the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia would like to intensify the cross-border exchange with our neighboring countries.

It will therefore be presenting the six winning designs in an exhibition at its Düsseldorf office from February 4 to 27, 2026.

Andrea Croé, Senior Curator Architecture & Urbanism at SCHUNCK, will present the award at the vernissage on February 3, 2026. In addition, the authors of the three awards and recognitions will be on site to explain their designs. Registration and information at: www.aknw.de
