Ecco Meineke presents in his Gagalerie
paintings by the Berlin artist
Andrea Wallgren.

Andrea Wallgren was born in Chile
and came to Germany at the age of 22.
After studying art in Bonn, she moved
as a freelance painter via Heidelberg and
Cottbus to Berlin.
She has been painting in the courthouses since 2006
and loves the "authentic Wedding".
Andrea is the chairwoman of the Kunst in den Gerichtshöfen association.

Many years ago, she changed her canvas medium to wood
and
mainly uses oil as well as pencil, chalk and stain. In other words, mixed media.
Her central theme is the human being - in motion, flowing and alive.
The focus is on the depiction of the figure in its dynamics,
its expression, its position, its color, without working everything out in detail.
Instead, she relies on implied forms and subtle hints,
that invite the viewer to grasp the movement and the essence of the person
themselves.
