EAST meets WEST brings together artists from Macedonia and the Cologne/Bonn region. Initiated by Irena Paskali and curated together with Susanne Grube, this is the third time that an exchange about different artistic perspectives and personal experiences has taken place. The exhibited works address memory, identity, the body, transformation and tradition as well as political thoughts and the interplay between reality and imagination. Old materials meet photography, textiles, performance and painting. EAST meets WEST invites visitors to discover connections, perceive differences and get to know new perspectives.
