Vernissage "間 | MA – Wo Form entsteht"

Vernissage of the exhibition "間 | MA - Where Form Emerges"

"間 | MA - Where Form Emerges" brings together contemporary positions from Japan that are characterized by a special sensitivity for material, gesture and interstices. In fine fabrics, precise drawings, wooden objects and still ceramics, form is not understood as a self-contained object, but as the result of relationship, rhythm and perception. In contrast to the massive architecture of the Bilker Bunker, the works unfold a restrained presence in which the essential becomes visible in the quiet.

Participating artists: Jimu Kobayashi, Suzusan, Takumi Ogata, Kaoli Mashio, Taiyoh Mori, Kazuki Nakahara, SANSUI, Hiroki Tashiro

The vernissage will take place on Friday, May 8, from 5-9 pm in the exhibition area of the Bilker Bunker. There will be a short introduction, music and drinks from the bar. Afterwards, you are cordially invited to the after-party in the Schleuse Zwei music bar with a DJ set by BUFIMAN.
