VERNISSAGE: The Sum Of Seasons

VERNISSAGE: The Sum Of Seasons

In the organizer's words:

Invitation to the vernissage

We cordially invite you to the vernissage "The Sum of the Seasons" on July 04, 2024 at 18:00 at NIO House Düsseldorf.

In addition to drinks and finger food, a special highlight awaits you:

Art historian and writer Frank Schablewski will take you on a poetic journey through the exhibited works. He writes poems and essays on art that have been published in anthologies, literary journals and catalogs of galleries and museums.

In the eyes of Frank Schablewski, the exhibition reflects the diversity and beauty of the seasons. He interprets the artists' works as an expression of the unique atmosphere and changes that each season brings with it.

From the vibrant freshness of spring to the calm reflection of winter, Schablewski sees in the works a deep insight into the cyclical nature of time and the emotional resonance it evokes in us.

Participation in the vernissage is free of charge.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The artists

Lina Danitz

Lina Danitz studied industrial design at the University of Wuppertal and at the University of Cincinnati in the USA. After completing her studies, she worked for ten years as an industrial designer in leading positions for international brands, during which time she received seven prestigious design awards (including IF Design Awards and Red Dot Design Awards). During this time, she has always pursued her passion for painting. Lina creates works of art that embody pure, organic forms and natural dynamics. As half-Japanese and half-German, she thematizes the contrast and interplay between two worlds in many of her works. This is also reflected in her unique signature, which consists of two different but connected halves.

Michèle Caspers

Michèle Caspers, originally from Düsseldorf, began her creative journey in fashion design and founded her own fashion label. During this time, she was already intensively involved in art. In 2016, she decided to sell her fashion label and devote herself fully to her passion for art and design. In her works, Michèle Caspers expresses her emotions through harmonious color gradients. Her art invites us to pause and enjoy the small details of the moment. She reminds us to consciously experience time and appreciate the beauty of the present. Her works capture the fleeting moments that enrich our lives and make us happy.

Julia Hariri

Julia Hariri is a contemporary artist from Berlin. After graduating as a designer and a career in the fashion industry, she devoted herself entirely to her art. Creativity serves her as an outlet to escape the often inharmonious environment. Her work addresses interpersonal relationships and self-reflection, focusing on the equality of the female read person. Hariri's art is characterized by clear lines, organic forms and bold colors. She deliberately creates order on canvas to channel the chaos of the outside world. In addition to acrylic paintings on canvas, Julia also works with clay, creating sculptures, vases and bowls to complement her painted works.

Dënalisa Shijaku

The gallery IT'S ART, BABY! is pleased to present an exclusive selection of works from artist Dënalisa Shijaku's current exhibition on the gallery level of NIO House. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to re-experience the Berlin-based artist's impressive works and be inspired by her creativity and expressiveness. Shijaku's solo exhibition can be seen at the gallery IT'S ART, BABY! until July 7.
