Versammlung der Tiere. Ein kooperativer Malraum
In the organizer's words:
Children and young people are invited to transform the museum space into a wild and species-rich animal kingdom. Animals from the neighboring Museum Alexander Koenig provide inspiration. Penguin, hare, rat, polar bear, pigeon, weevil or antelope: we don't yet know which animals will move into the art museum, as this will also be decided by the children and young people, who will participate collaboratively over the course of the nine months.
The painted wall sections can be renewed, the animals can wander out of the museum to create new places and involve children and young people in further painting processes. The assembly of animals encourages children and young people to experience beauty, strangeness, danger and vulnerability in a participatively designed place.
