Eight short films, eight perspectives from Germany, Poland and France: this program brings together works that explore our place in a Europe between memory and future, belonging and loss. In cooperation with the ARS INDEPENDENT Festival in Katowice, Polish-Swiss filmmaker Emilie Girardin is bringing a selection of short films from the Weimar Triangle to Hamburg. From essay films to animation and fiction, the program offers various insights into worlds that intertwine, contradict and open up new spaces for interpretation. In German, Polish, French and Spanish with English subtitles.
