Vortrag: Wale - Giganten der Meere - VIELFALT DURCH MEER
In the organizer's words:
Whales - giants of the seas
Whales are fascinating - because of their size, intelligence and mysterious communication. In this lecture, we dive into the lives of these marine mammals: What makes them so special? How do they orient themselves in the vastness of the ocean? And what threatens them today?
You will learn what role whales play in the ecosystem, why their protection concerns us all and how we can help them. For everyone who wants to know more about the "gentle giants".
Speaker: Sophie Steinhausen, marine biologist, project manager at the NGO Pro Ocean
