VINCENT VAN GOGH - Das Licht, die Farbe und die Sense
In the organizer's words:
Painting in Sensenhammer
The artist Vincent van Gogh was fascinated by color and light. He found this particularly in the sunny, light-filled landscape of Provence. There, he also observed farmers mowing with scythes and used their work in the fields as a motif in his paintings.
Over the course of two days, join artist Christa Engstenberg-Mannes as you follow in his footsteps and try to capture the light itself on canvas with brush and paint.
You’ll learn a lot about his painting technique and how it all relates to the scythes.
The course takes place on Monday, August 3, and Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day
