In the organizer's words:

Loneliness can also manifest itself in the middle of the city - even when there are lots of people around. Stadtfreunde Düsseldorf is a community against loneliness that starts right here: We bring people together and create spaces for genuine encounters and connection. Whether at social runs followed by a coffee together, games evenings or other activities - the focus is always on community.

We now invite you to join us for an ongoing yoga series every two weeks. Each session offers a safe space to consciously arrive, take a deep breath and connect with yourself and others, and the yoga practice is gentle, mindful and conscious, guided by the breath. The sequences are clearly structured, sometimes invigorating, sometimes soft - suitable for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners alike.

In January, the motto of the series is "Roots to Rise " - find inner stability, put down roots and let new strength and lightness grow from this.

After the yoga class, we end the evening together, chat over tea and enjoy the open atmosphere of the Stadtfreunde.

The yoga class starts at 19:15. Please bring your own mat and arrive a few minutes early - the door opens at 7 pm so that we can start together in a relaxed atmosphere. We will provide tea and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
