IHK specialist qualifications and retraining

Typical contents of the information event

• Program presentation: Overview of the specific IHK qualifications and retraining measures (e.g. personnel, IT, office).
• Prerequisites: Information on which educational or vocational qualifications are required for admission to the courses or retraining programs.
• Procedure and duration: Details on the organization, whether the courses are full-time, part-time or online and how long they last.
• Qualification and recognition: Information about the state-recognized IHK qualification or IHK certificate and its value on the job market.
• Funding opportunities: Advice on financial aid such as education vouchers, BAföG, or other government funding from the employment agency or job center.
• Technical requirements: Information on the required equipment (PC/laptop, headset, webcam) and software for virtual participation.
• Q&A session: The opportunity to get in touch directly with lecturers, advisors or employees of the training provider and clarify individual questions.

Participation procedure

Taking part in a virtual information event is straightforward:

1. Registration: You register by e-mail with the training provider: y.petrikat@grone.de
2. Access data: You will usually receive a personal link by e-mail shortly before the event, which will take you to the virtual seminar room (e.g. via platforms such as Zoom).
3. Participation: Click on the link at the specified time and you can attend live, follow the presentations and participate interactively.
4. You will need: Laptop / PC / cell phone with camera and microphone

These events are an excellent opportunity to find out about the next steps in your career from the comfort of your own home and to ensure that the program you choose matches your goals
