In cooperation with the University of the Arts Bremen.
Thomas Kilpper (*1956, Stuttgart) devotes himself exclusively to woodcuts. In a critical examination of Kirchner, he has developed the expansive installation "Woodcut Maelstrom". In the exhibition, it invites the public to immerse themselves in a dialogical vortex between printing block and print, which unites historical and contemporary personalities, questions and changes of perspective. The reversal of top and bottom, positive and negative opens up a space that invites both reflection and participation.
