A feminist painting workshop for self-love & empowerment
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will create your own work of art using acrylic paints on canvas - inspired by the vulva or any motif that feels right for you.
Vulvas don't just belong in sex education books - they belong on walls, on canvases and in the middle of life. At Viva La Vulva, we celebrate exactly that: bodies, diversity and self-love.
Lena transforms the room into a feminist-creative playground: music on, everyday life off, focus on you. Instead of "painting perfectly", it's about trying yourself out, feeling good and creating a picture that feels like you.
There will be a short check-in at the start: who are you, what brought you here and what do you want from this workshop?
You have the opportunity to exchange ideas in the group - everything can, nothing has to. You can talk, listen, laugh, be quiet for a moment, get loud. The only important thing is that you don't have to explain or justify yourself. The room is yours.
And then: off to the paint.
Use acrylic paints to create your own work of art - just the way you like it:
- abstract vulva
- playful sea of color
- statement piece with a message
- or something completely different
You can paint freely from your head, use a template or sketch loosely at first. Lena will be at your side the whole time, showing you tricks for layers, contrasts and shapes and gently pushing you over the "I don't dare" edge.
In the end, you'll not only take home a picture, but also the feeling:
My body is not a project. It is already art.
What you can expect:
- 2.5 hours of creative workshop in a relaxed, safe atmosphere
- Feminist framework, but without a pedagogical lecture
- Short check-in instead of a frontal lecture
- Accompaniment & artistic support from Lena
- Painting with acrylic paints on canvas, all materials included
- Space for emotions, vulnerability, strength & humor
- Your finished vulva (or non-vulva) artwork to take home with you
For whom?
For female readers / FLINTA* who want an empowering workshop that is not about "working" but about feeling, painting and being. You don't need any previous knowledge - really.
Bring:
You, comfortable clothes that can withstand paint splatters, and maybe a vague idea of what feeling you want to make visible. Lena will take care of the rest - canvases, high-quality paints, brushes & vibes.
