In the organizer's words:
Do you fancy some fresh air, exercise and a great sense of community? Then the Volksgarten parkrun Düsseldorf is the right place for you!
The Volksgarten parkrun is a free, weekly 5 km community run that is organized entirely on a voluntary basis. parkrun is not a race or competition. Whether you want to run, walk, help out or simply watch and cheer - everyone is welcome.
📍 When? Every Saturday at 9:00 am
📍 Where? Balloon meadow in the Volksgarten
👉 Don't worry, it's not about best times! You can cover the distance at your own pace.
👉 Don't feel like running or walking? Feel free to support the team as a volunteer!
Good to know:
🕒 From around 8:45 a.m., there will be a briefing for first-time runners and a briefing by the run director in German and English.

After the parkrun, many participants go to Café Südpark at the Werkstatt für angepasste Arbeit to have breakfast together.
