Publishing a book is now almost inextricably linked with public readings, but presenting your own text orally has its challenges.

The workshop with the actress Claudia Hübbecker (Schauspiel Düsseldorf) prepares you for the stage performance with warm-up and relaxation exercises, tips on conscious and effortless speaking and reading your own and other people's texts aloud with a focus on interpretation through the way you read.
Posture and, last but not least, silent communication with the audience during the reading are also included.
Claudia Hübbecker completed her acting training at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. From 1997/98 she was engaged at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. This was followed by an engagement at the Theater Freiburg before she became a member of the ensemble at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus for the 2006/07 season.
