Program

The scenic-musical journey through the rooms of the Kulturinstitut leads from its origins, represented by harmonious soundscapes, lullabies and first childhood memories, right into the frictional complexity of contemporary events. In the eye of the storm of mind-numbing text fragments, the possibility suddenly appears of shedding this isolation in the dissonance of contexts and entering a completely new listening space with a hopeful look ahead. Here, the musicians perform works that playfully outline the unfolding of a utopia through music, dance and encounters, from Corelli and Purcell to folk dances and Italian canzoni. The concert will be performed by Viviane Ruof (violin) in collaboration with Sia Liebermann (vocals), Jasmin Mai (cello) and pupils from the Brecht School.
