It has long been one of the top addresses for up-and-coming authors: BAS - the Writing Academy at the Literaturhaus München. From now on, the graduates will be given a special stage: Academy director Katrin Lange lets prominent "first-time readers" have their say and asks them, in conversation with the authors, about their impressions and associations. First up is the actress, publisher, audiobook interpreter and empathetic literary mediator Meike Rötzer. She has chosen two spectacular debuts, Anja Gmeinwieser's "Wir Königinnen" (Berlin Verlag) and Katinka Ruffieux's "Zu wenig vom Guten" (Arche Verlag), and shares her very own perspective, her clear, surprising view of the texts.
