What happens when you approach a literary adaptation from both a literary and a cinematic perspective?

The series of events, which is now in its third season, includes a short impulse as well as a film talk with the audience after the screening. All films are shown without advertising. Unless otherwise indicated, international films will be shown in the OmU (original version with subtitles).

05.02: The Stranger (based on Albert Camus' novel of the same name)

12.03: Der Club der toten Dichter (novel by Nancy H. Kleinbaum based on the film)

09.04: Malina (based on Ingeborg Bachmann's novel of the same name)

14.05: Blade Runner (based on Philip K. Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep?")

11.06: The Russian is one who loves birches (based on Olga Grjasnowa's novel of the same name)
