VONDRÉ

Vondré is an alternative rock band from the Mexican underground rock scene led by Ana Cristina Espinosa. Inspired by the grunge and shoegaze movements of the 1990s and blended with modern rock elements, the band explores themes such as identity, social tensions, and dark emotional landscapes.

Known for their energetic stage presence, Vondré captivates audiences with intense live performances and deeply emotional songs. The band has already shared the stage with renowned international and national acts, including Placebo (Palacio de los Deportes, Mexico City), Evanescence (Teatro Metropólitan, Mexico City), Nothing, Deap Valley, Death Valley Girls (San Francisco Psych Fest), Holy Wave (13th Floor, Austin, TX), Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, The Paranoyds, Billy Glitter, The Bright Light Social Hour, and Stuck in the Sound.

Oscillating between shoegaze and grunge, Vondré presents “00:00,” their second studio album—set in the liminal space between night and day, where everything shifts, between what ends and what begins.

00:00 is a portal that directly confronts emptiness, melancholy, and transformation. Through ethereal yet powerful soundscapes, the album reveals both vulnerability and strength. Its lyrics explore mental health, the search for identity, beauty in chaos, and self-acceptance.
