Due to popular demand: post-metal band VOWER announce two additional shows in Munich and Bochum in February

Whether through friendship or through worship and respect: when you make a vow, you plant your heart and soul in every detail that goes with it. There is no in-between. This mutual assurance is what Rabea Massaad, Josh Mckeown, Rory McLean, Joe Gosney and Liam Kearley were drawn to when fate brought them together. After over a decade of touring and working with their previous bands Toska, Palm Reader and Black Peaks, they have spent the last few years harnessing their experience and passion in ways they never thought they would be able to before.
The result is VOWER, a project that serves its five members as a new form of expression within heavy music. It is an artistic vehicle in which nothing is impossible and everything feels free, fresh and incredibly fulfilling. It is both a light in the darkness and an intimate community that provides comfort, as well as a platform to rekindle a primal passion for these powerful sounds.
Combining the massive build-up of post-metal, the virtuosic dimension of progressive metal and the dark force of post-hardcore, the band is a perfect summation of what it means to go all out to achieve truly unexpected - and as yet unheard - results.
This is clearly evident on their debut EP "Apricity": Four tracks of carefully choreographed and skillfully performed heaviness and harmony that will captivate any audience. Songs that explain how to throw off the shackles of everything that holds you back and plunge headlong into the unknown. Each ebb and flow of the gigantic sound represents the most exciting and extraordinary music to emerge from the British heavy music scene in some time
What's special about VOWER's successes so far, however, is that they've only scratched the surface. It's fascinating how quickly they have cemented such a passionate and creative relationship. The possibilities of what can still be created are fascinating. It's all about doing things your own way to keep such an immense development going. Not losing sight of anything, keeping everyone on track and getting the best out of everyone: That's what VOWER stands for, no matter what.
