It often starts like this: a harmless message via social media or text message - friendly, curious, approachable - and then trust slowly grows...

Many of us have received a message like this or know someone who has been affected. But what is behind it? Who writes something like this and why? How can I protect myself? We provide information about so-called love scams, shed light on the global connections behind digital love scams and use simple role-playing games to show how the scammers' tricks work.

Led by theater artists Anna Winde-Hertling and Stefan Mießeler, who are currently working on a stage production on the topic, participants will gain exclusive insights into the research, can exchange ideas and become active themselves.
