Music Salon // Green: French wind trios in the countryside

The forest concerts, which have established themselves as part of the greeNTO program in the Käfertal forest in recent years - and which always take place around the "International Day for the Conservation of Biodiversity" - are a young but all the more beautiful tradition. After various string programs, this year it is the turn of a charming wind ensemble: the woodwind trio, consisting of oboe, clarinet and bassoon. A pastoral atmosphere immediately wafts over you when you hear the lively works by French composers in the circle of the group "Les Six", for example - at the same time, they formed something like the cheerful French version of a "New Objectivity" in music, which was directed against the kitsch and artificiality of the turn of the century. Darius Milhaud (1892-1974) and his friend Jacques Ibert (1890-1962) are the protagonists of this music, which sounds like a light, fruity rosé. - Of course you are welcome to bring this to the Karlsstern... but remember: there are also variations by Mozart. That would then speak for Grüner Veltliner. The concert will take place in the Pavillon am Karlstern.
