The two-day WARS symposium in Munich invites international guests and examines the aesthetic, political and ethical dimensions of performative practices and cultural situations in Europe against the backdrop of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. And places this in the context of authoritarian tendencies in democratic European countries such as Slovakia, Hungary and Poland, where artistic freedom is under attack by the state government.
Given the unstable situation in Europe today, how can we put up effective resistance and remain resilient? Is it even possible to prepare for a fight?
