In the organizer's words:
Eva Müller and Isabel Schneider shed light on German entertainment culture in the 1990s and 2000s. While public programming of that era was often dominated by male performers and producers, the film focuses on a perspective that was scarcely represented in the spotlight at the time. The directors show how decisions were made behind the scenes, how gender roles became entrenched in shows and productions, and why certain voices were systematically silenced.
Complementing this historical context, women share their own experiences with these shows.
