16 VARIATIONS ON CHANCE
Inclusive children's theater play with
Kassandra Wedel & Murali Peruma
On her way home, 10-year-old Lily encounters chance. The
question of what would have happened if she had gone the other way makes the girl
girl back against time to the last street corner. Thus
Lily is given the opportunity to play through 16 variations of what could have
could have happened. But she will not find a 'right' or 'wrong'
she will not find on her way.
Lily learns to trust her own decisions and realizes that chance is an integral part of life,
that chance is a direct part of life. Together
with the deaf actress KASSANDRA WEDEL and the German-Indian actor
German-Indian actor MURALI PERUMAL, director / author
director / author JOCHEN STRODTHOFF and scenographer MICHAEL
BISCHOFF are developing a rousing philosophical performance for
deaf and hearing people aged 8 and over.
An inclusive children's theater project of this kind is currently
unique in Munich and an exception in the cultural landscape.
