How can research, media art and contemporary music work together? How can the physical wave dynamics of water be captured in musical and visual impulses? In collaboration with the MörgensLab of Theater Aachen, the Trio Wellenbad transforms the 2,250 square meter experimental hall of the IWW into a landscape of sounds, voices and video projections. Ongoing research is integrated into the production at the experimental facilities together with the researchers. For three hours, the experimental facilities will merge with singers from the Collegium Musicum of the RWTH, researchers from the IWW and the Trio Wellenbad to create a concert installation - an experiment of a special kind.
