Wasserspiele
An entertaining and critical blend of dance, stories and drama
.A group of water droplets eludes the eternal cycle of evaporation and rain. A man waits at a fountain for his wish to come true after throwing a coin into it. An unscrupulous CEO promises himself big money from the drinking water business.
Dancer Simone Schmitt and actress Annette Schmidt have combined these and other scenes into a round dance of associations around the theme of "water". Fairy-tale-like scenes are followed by satirical performances with original texts by businessmen and poetic dance images. Performances include a bather, a voice from the future, a dried-up tree and many drops of water.
