"The Prowler Tour 2026": Waterparks for four concerts in Germany

Somewhere between chaos and charisma is Waterparks - the Texan pop-rock band that has been regularly pushing the boundaries of its genre for over 15 years, delighting fans worldwide. Waterparks was founded in Houston in 2011 by lead singer Awsten Knight, guitarist Geoff Wigington and bassist Gage Matthieu, who already knew each other from the local music scene. Drummer Owen Marvin joined them shortly afterwards. However, shortly after the release of their first EP "Airplane Conversations", Marvin and Matthieu left the band. With the arrival of drummer Otto Wood, Waterparks finally came together as a trio. This was followed by the EPs "Black Light" (2014) and "Cluster" (2016) as well as the debut album "Double Dare", with which the band made a name for themselves nationwide. They achieved their international breakthrough with their 2018 album "Entertainment" at the latest, before storming the US and UK charts with "Fandom" (2019) and "Greatest Hits" - including enthusiastic fans, critics and various music awards. In 2023, they reached number 1 in the Billboard Alternative Charts for the first time with "Intellectual Property", finally establishing their wild mix of pop-punk, electro-pop, alternative rock and hyper-pop. Since the beginning of 2025, the band has repeatedly attracted attention with new singles: "If Lyrics Were Confidential" revolves around the question of what words you would choose if no one else could hear them - while "Any Minute Now" deals with Knight's experiences of growing up.
What is already impressive on record packs an even greater punch live: whether at scene highlights such as the Warped Tour, as support for legends such as My Chemical Romance and All Time Low or on their own tours - Waterparks shows are explosive, unpredictable and radically honest. "The Prowler Tour" recently kicked off in the USA and will take the trio to Europe in 2026. This coming March, Waterparks will finally make a stop in Germany for four exclusive shows!
