Weberei Kai - Workshop "Weben mit Männern"

Why have more than 80% of the course participants at the Kai Weaving Workshop been female so far? And yet the—few—men who have learned to weave there have become enthusiastic hand weavers. But while all the preschoolers love the loom and enthusiastically weave rugs and banners, hardly any men sign up for the courses. That’s why Weberei Kai is offering this opportunity for men to design and make a merino wool scarf—and, on this particular day, to have the class all to themselves, except for the instructor. The scarves will be finished at home; after 14 days, we’ll meet to remove the finished fabrics from the looms together and practice making fringes and knots. Maximum number of workshop participants: 4–6 people You can register until the Monday of the workshop week.  Participation is free, but registration is required.
