Weekend warm-up: Move it – Alles in Bewegung!

Staatsgalerie on the Move: Under the motto “Move it – Everything in Motion!,” we are celebrating a special moment in the history of the Staatsgalerie.

While the revolutionary female artists featured in our new exhibition “BÄNG!” spearheaded a social movement in the 1960s and 1970s, our Classic Modern collection is heading to a new location this year. Our masterpieces are being prepared for their move to the Kunstgebäude on Schlossplatz. They will be on view there starting in mid-February under the title “Simply the Best!”

So: Come enjoy the Classical Modernism collection in the Stirling Building and THE GÄLLERY’s “BÄNG!” exhibition one last time! Look forward to an evening with live DJs, hits from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, performances, and outstanding art!
