Roncalli Weihnachtsdorf am Hauptbahnhof

The Roncalli Christmas Village is back: from November 24 to December 30, the Roncalli market team will be bringing a new kind of winter flair to the capital of Lower Saxony.

Inspired by the half-timbered architecture of Lower Saxony, the many different huts create a rustic atmosphere and ensure a contemplative Advent season at the Hanover Christmas market.

Pure nostalgia meets virtual reality

Over 50 exhibitors offer their lovingly decorated goods in the nostalgic huts: Original gift ideas, artisans, some of whom demonstrate their crafts to the public on site and, of course, an extensive and high-quality range of food and drink. The selection is large and varied. Take a ride on the historic Ferris wheel and look out over the festively decorated Hanover or the twinkling lights in the Roncalli Christmas Village. When a very special Christmas story is told on the historic façade of the main railway station, young and old alike can enjoy the festive Christmas atmosphere.

Highlights

• Projection: Every day at 5pm, 6:30pm and 8pm, the historic façade of the main station sparkles with lights and tells a special Christmas story.
• Ferris wheel: A ride on the historic Ferris wheel offers a fantastic view of the festively illuminated city and the entire Hanover Christmas market.
• Restaurant & Café: The historic restaurant-café is a real rarity and enchants with its special atmosphere. It invites you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and indulge in culinary delights in the cozy ambience on the square. The menu is available as a PDF on the Christmas Village website.
