13th Steinhude Wine Festival from June 12 to 14, 2026
From June 12 to 14, 2026, the historic barn quarter on the idyllic Steinhuder Meer will once again be transformed into a meeting place for wine lovers: at the 13th wine festival, numerous winegrowers from five German wine-growing regions will present their current vintages and provide interesting insights into traditional production methods and the special features of their regions, including Mosel, Nahe, Rheinhessen, Pfalz and Saale-Unstrut. Embedded in the special atmosphere of the lovingly restored barn quarter, which was redesigned in the course of EXPO 2000, visitors can look forward to an enjoyable weekend with a variety of aromas, stimulating encounters and musical entertainment.
A variety of delights at the wine festival in the Scheunenviertel
The wine festival opens its doors on Friday at 17:00 and invites visitors to taste, feast and enjoy on all three days of the event. In addition to a large selection of exquisite wines, visitors can expect a wide range of culinary delights to suit every taste, from hearty specialties to sweet delicacies.
Numerous stands present a diverse selection of delicacies: From fine spices, tea and selected delicatessen products to high-quality cheese specialties such as mountain, Iberico and aromatic truffle cheese to fine salamis, truffle chips and crispy Schüttelbrot bread. The range is complemented by delicious cheese platters with selected side dishes such as cocktail tomatoes, grapes, peppers, radishes and blueberries.
Lovers of hearty classics will also get their money's worth. Freshly baked tarte flambée, fish specialties, juicy smash burgers with crispy fries as well as bratwurst, chips, soups, pan-fried dishes and suckling pig provide culinary variety.
Langos and pretzels, among other things, are available to satisfy small appetites in between meals, while sweet specialties such as crêpes and ice cream varieties ensure enjoyable moments. The offer is rounded off by a brewery with craft beers and non-alcoholic drinks.

Friday, 17:00-22:00
Karsten "Gitman" Bölting will kick off Friday evening with a varied repertoire of German evergreens, rock and pop classics and soulful melodies to set the mood.
Saturday, 15:00-22:00
The wine festival opens at 15:00 on Saturday. From 16:00, singer Julia Kokke will whisk us away into a world of pop hits. From 16:00 to 17:30, visitors can experience a musical journey through time. Together with her partner Christoph, Kokke performs German hits from the upbeat 50s to the glittering 70s with authentic costumes and lots of emotion, inviting visitors to sing along, sway and dream.
From 17:30 to 19:00, the talented singer takes us on a journey from Paris to Berlin. She sings classics by Édith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Juliette Gréco and Jacques Brel as well as German chansons by Marlene Dietrich and Hildegard Knef in French and in sensitive German translations. Her literary moderations, small scenes and lovingly selected props turn the program into a sensual overall experience.
The singer will close the evening from 19:00 to 22:00 with her new show program "Schlager meets Disco". In this show, the singer combines the best of two musical worlds: The emotional highlights of German Schlager and the danceable cult hits of the 70s to 90s.
Sunday, 11:00-18:00
The wine festival continues on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. with various show dances. The line dancers from the Uschi Braun dance school in Stadthagen will kick things off. Line dancing is a form of group dance in which the participants dance synchronously in rows in front of and next to each other to country, pop or modern music styles. The fixed step sequences are easy to learn and create a communal and dynamic dance experience. Visitors are cordially invited to join in.
At 14:00, the children's dance group from TanzLounge Stadthagen will perform. The children of different ages will present a varied and rousing choreography with a sense of rhythm and joy in the foreground. The focus is on playful learning, team spirit and the further development of basic dance skills.
The stage program concludes with the BSV Gleidingen hip-hop show. The dance group performs with several age groups and presents an energetic program that combines modern hip-hop elements with expression and dynamism. The individual performances come together to form a varied show that delights the audience and rounds off the day of the event in an atmospheric way.
The wine festival ends at around 6 p.m. and leaves the audience looking forward to a sequel next year.
