On International Women's Day, the women's choir WoW - Women of Wuppertal from the Bergische Musikschule raises its voice for diversity, respect and cohesion.

WoW - the name says it all, as the international ensemble unites around 80 women from 20 countries who sing in 30 languages of their cultures of origin! WoW embodies the richness of cultures, the power of community and the strength of women - and radiates a palpable joie de vivre.

The choir presents a repertoire of international songs and folk tunes. With its positive, open charisma and the joy of singing, the choir transforms every concert into a celebration of encounter that gives hope and touches. WoW has received many awards and has already performed in renowned venues such as the Kölner Philharmonie, the Elbphilharmonie and the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Berlin.
