On this evening, Mannheim-based writer Nora Noé and virtuoso musician Emanuel Goldstein will shed light on the subject of life and death in a variety of literary and musical ways. Nora Noé will talk from the "family sewing box", telling of her grandfather, who was a funeral director at Mannheim's main cemetery, and her great-aunt, who married for the fourth time at the age of 90. However, the entertaining program also includes cheerful, contemplative, thought-provoking and satirical texts by other authors.

Emanuel Goldstein picks up on the various stories musically and ingeniously adapts them to the content. The pianist and organist, who was born blind, sings and plays pop songs, classical music and songs by well-known singer-songwriters.
