Werkschau aktueller VFX-Kurzfilme aus der HFF München

In the organizer's words:

"Our students have implemented original and imaginative ideas at a high technical level. This has resulted in visually appealing animated films as well as live-action productions that have been elaborately designed with VFX."

The program of the VFX-Reel 2023 includes the animated film SCHATTENSPIEL, in which a little girl imaginatively conquers her fear. The similarly animated film GEISTER depicts the loving affection of two housemates at the end of the world.
As a work from the 2nd year of study, the live-action film WIND UP allows viewers to experience a generational conflict in a dramatic setting.
The finale shows excerpts from the work of the main study program, in which various HFF Munich productions were creatively enriched using visual effects.

A Q&A with the film teams and a joint viewing of making-ofs will round off the evening.
