150 graduates of the Peter Behrens School of Arts at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences will be exhibiting their final projects at the Summer Work Show 2025
On July 11 and 12, 2025, design enthusiasts can explore the latest projects by graduates of the Design department at the Peter Behrens School of Arts. On both days, 150 works from all Bachelor's and Master's degree programs Exhibition Design, Communication Design, New Craft Object Design and Retail Design will be exhibited in Building 6 on the Derendorf campus.
On display are a wide variety of artistic and creative forms of presentation that the designers have acquired during their training in the Design department. From jewelry, installations, photography, illustration, the realization of print media, objects, the planning of store concepts, CI and exhibitions to user experience design and documentation, all nuances of design can be explored on three floors.
Workshop design summer semester 2025
After graduation, a new phase of life begins: less defined and familiar. A leap from clear routines into a wide, unexplored space full of opportunities and possibilities.
This is exactly where this year's Werkschaugestaltung comes in - with language as a creative tool. Typography takes center stage: words, sentences such as "select all life", "copy paste love", "new layouts, new beginnings", "more ideas than stars" - merge, flow into one another and form new connections. Writing becomes an expression of movement, change and energy. But language is not only visible - it becomes audible. Finally, a musical production brings these typographic messages to life. The sung words give language a new dimension - a solemn, lively voice.
The combination of visual design and musical performance creates an atmosphere of optimism and joy. It is not just an exhibition, but a celebration - an invitation to give free rein to creativity and welcome it with open arms.
